“I don't typically wear make-up or do my hair, and yet found myself struggling with the idea of showing up to a photo shoot without it. Was that really something worth capturing and paying for? What if I saw myself as I was... and felt underwhelmed? How jarring to confront those thoughts that resurface before an experience like this.
Amidst my reservations, my North Star was this: Mitzi has never steered me wrong. So I showed up...
The shoot was liberating, empowering, and FUN. Mitzi creates an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and allows your "you" to shine. I couldn't believe how fast the shoot flew by - it was effortless.
I love that I have these photos. I love that I told myself, "I am worthy of being captured, just like this." I love that Mitzi is doing this project. What a gift to hold this space for us all, as we are.”
